Patchwork table runners - Kaitaliinat.

Hi Everyone!

I'm back and full of plans and inspiration for new blog posts! 

I have been working on few colorful projects. Now parts of them are ready to show. I love crocheting patchwork table runners, after the first motive I can make the rest, and I decide the shape and the size of the  crochet!

Olen tehnyt muutamia värikkäitä virkkauksia. Nyt ne ovat valmiita esiteltäviksi. Tykkään virkata patchwork kaitaliinoja, ensimmäisen muodon (esim. kukan alla) jälkeen tiedän ohjeen, ja voin päättää virkauksen koon ja muodon!

Crocheted spring wreath. Virkattu kevät kranssi

Hi Everyone!

Finally beautiful spring has arrived to Finland as well, hopefully it stays for a while as we waited so long.

In keeping with my joyful mood today I would like to show you my finished crochet  'Spring Wreath' with pink roses, I think 20 roses. It is not my first, but for sure not my last! The crocheted wreath is so fun to make.

Ihana kevät on tullut Suomeen, toivottavasti se myös jatkuu, koska sitä on odotettu niin pitkään. Näytän teille juuri valmistuneen virkatun kevät kranssin 20 ruusujen kanssa. Se ei ole minun ensimmäinen kranssini, mutta varmasti ei viimeinenkään! Virkatun kranssin tekeminen on tosi hauskaa!

Grey-white crochets + pattern. Harmaavalkoiset virkkaukset + ohje

These are not black and white photos...... I made some grey-white crochets recently.

Recycled crafts to crochet are amazing and super easy to do, so you should definitely learn how to make for example crochet cans!

Moikka kaikille!

Nämä eivät ole mustavalkoisia kuvia... Minä tein harmaavalkoisia virkauksia äskettäin.

Uudelleenkäytettävät käsityöt ovat upeita ja todella helppoja tehdä, joten sinun pitäisi ehdottomasti oppia kuinka tehdä esimerkiksi virkatut purkit!

The pattern of the crochet rose:

1.  chain 25 (if you make more, the rose will be bigger, or less, it will be smaller)
2.  DC to the fifth chain from the hook , skip one chain,* DC, 1 ch, DC to the same chain, skip one chain*,  repeat until the end. (you make like V shapes) , turn
3. Crochet 5 DC to each DC-chain-DC space ( the first V)- here you get the petals, than SC between two V, 5 DC to every V space , SC between. Repeat until the end.
Leave a long tail,  threading the tail through a needle (the tail will be used to sew it all together), sew together. You are ready.

Virkattu ruusun ohje:

1.  virkkaa 25 ketjusilmukkaa
2.  aloita viidennestä silmukasta, virkkaa joka toiseen silmukkaan kaksoispylväs, 1 ketjusilmukka, kaksoispylväs
3. Virkkaa nyt jokaiseen kaksoispylväs-ketjusilmukka -renkaaseen 5 kaksoispylvästä, joista muodostuu kukan terälehdet ja virkkaa jokaisen viiden kaksoispylvään jälkeen yksi kiinteäsilmukka.
Kiedo virkattu pitsinauha spiraaliksi, jolloin siitä muodostuu ruusun kukinto. Neulo yhteen ja olet valmis.

And the doily comes here. Original pattern offered different edging, but I didn't like it, so I crocheted my own border.

Pöytäliina on tässä. Alkuperäinessä ohjeessa oli erilainen reuna, mutten pitänyt siitä, joten virkkasin oman reunan.
